Stephen Hawking
The silent man that has everyone talking!
Professor
Stephen Hawking is the most well known scientist alive today. His mind
is like a maze with many directions, but if you know the way, then the
path is laid out before you.
Since starting basic science the main question to be asked is why and
Stephen Hawking has asked this question in the most ultimate way - Why
are we here,
How will it end?
Once it was discovered that our world is not the centre of the universe,
Stephen Hawking was then able concentrate on the most controversial matter,
even with himself: GOD v the big bang!
This brilliant mathematician questions not only human life itself of our
galaxy, but also the existence of everything, our universe - the origin,
evolution and what is yet to come!
Cosmology is the start of where we can understand more about what our
future holds. The human race, the ecosystem, the sky, the time and space
that we use, are all costly examples that can never be replaced! Everything
has a natural balance and rule to co-exist. Science does tell us that
everything is inter-related so in the present day recognising global warming,
over population and nuclear war as serious risks to life on Earth, is
vital and people need to realise that everyone counts.
Any help to understand the desire for a better tomorrow and explain the
complex with basic explanation as Prof. Hawking has proven time and again,
deserves to be my Hero.
Angela Marsden is a science student following
a one year university access course in biological sciences.
