Science Degree Access Course students

Introduction by Biology lecturer John O'Neill:

The Science Degree Access course is for students who are over sixteen but with no upper age limit. Students on this one year course are required to submit a written investigative report as part of their assessed course work. This provides an ideal opportunity to integrate the work of the Heroes Project into the science curriculum. The title they have been set is "Heroes of science and technology, past and present - a study of how the work of pioneering scientists has benefitted society"
